Yamato sold their Grenade Box Protection (AKA “Heavy Armor) for the 1\/48 VF-1 in the same 37 x 36 x 14.2 cm box the 1\/48 VF-1 toys were shipped in. On the positive side, that means you still get a flip-top lid if you want to admire your armor without actually pulling it out. Inside the box was one massive tray that included the armor as well as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Pair of battroid side cavity fillers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Optional smaller crotch armor (requires removal of the VF-1’s nosecone)
4) 2 pairs of fixed posed hands (fists, right gun grip, left open palm)
